Eligibility & Key Requirements
Qualifications:

Must posses skills and qualifications relevant to the nominated occupation and at the level as per ANZSCO
Work Experience:
-
Minimum of 12 months full-time equivalent work experience within the last 5 years
English Language Proficiency:
-
Achieve the required test scores mentioned below, in a single attempt at the test and
-
complete the test within 3 years
-
IELTS: Overall band score of at least 5.0 with a score of at least 5 in each of the test components
-
OET: Score of at least 'B' in each of the four components
-
TOEFL iBT: iBT total score of at least 35 with a score of at least 4 for each of the test components of listening and reading, and a score of at least 14 for each of the test components of speaking and writing
-
PTE: Academic overall test score of at least 36 with a score of at least 36 in each of the test components
-
Cambridge C1 Advanced Test: Overall test score of at least 154 with a score of at least 154 in each of the test components.

Labour Market Testing
For nominations under the Skills in Demand (subclass 482) Core Skills and Specialist Skills streams, as well as the Skilled Employer Sponsored Regional (Provisional) visa (subclass 494) Employer Sponsored stream, the following simplified LMT rules apply for nominations on or after 11 December 2023:

Advertising Evidence:
Sponsors must provide copies of all advertisements used to promote the position.

Advertising Duration:
The position must be advertised for a minimum of four weeks within the four months before the nomination is lodged.

Redundancy or Retrenchment:
If a current Australian citizen or permanent resident worker was made redundant or retrenched within four months prior to lodging the nomination, the advertisement must have been published after that date. Details of the redundancy or retrenchment must be included with the nomination.

Advertisement Must Include:

The job title or a clear description of the position (multiple positions in one ad are acceptable).
-
The required skills or experience.
-
The name of the approved sponsor or the recruitment agency used by the sponsor.
-
The salary details if the annual earnings are below AUD96,400 (a salary range is acceptable).

Approved Advertising Channels:
At least two advertisements must be published in one or more of the following ways:-
A prominent or professional recruitment website with national reach.
-
Industry-specific recruitment websites commonly used in the occupation.
-
National print media (newspapers or magazines published at least monthly).
-
National radio stations.
-
The sponsor’s own website (if they are an accredited sponsor).
Note: General classifieds and social media posts (except LinkedIn’s recruitment platform) are not acceptable. Also, job vacancies limited to LinkedIn profile members only are not acceptable.

Publication Details:
Advertisements (including online ads) should run for at least four weeks, with applications or expressions of interest accepted throughout this period. Ads may be published in the same medium on different occasions or across different media, as long as the total duration equals at least four weeks.

Third-Party Advertising:
The advertisement can be placed by a third party (such as a recruitment agency) if they are authorised by the sponsor.

Evidence Submission:
Provide evidence of at least two separate advertisements when submitting the nomination.
